Spencer West received his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry with a minor in Bioengineering. He spent over a decade working in the biotech industry, primarily with clinical-stage startups focused on immunotherapy. His roles spanned research and development as well as quality control giving him a deep understanding of the science behind innovative medical treatments.
Driven by a desire to work directly with patients and inspired by his own experience undergoing multiple orthopedic surgeries, he made the decision to shift career paths and enrolled in the inaugural class of the Brenau University PA program. There, he completed his training as a PA with a focus on delivering patient-centered care.
