Dr. Ben Puckett, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with Specialty Orthopaedics, where he focuses on hand and upper extremity surgery, shoulder replacement, and reconstructive procedures. He specializes in treating conditions such as carpal tunnel syndrome, fractures, tendon injuries, arthritis of the hand and wrist, and complex shoulder disorders.
He received his medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine, completed his internship and residency at Atlanta Medical Center, and pursued fellowship training at University of California San Diego.
Dr. Puckett is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and holds a Certificate of Added Qualification in Surgery of the Hand. His clinical interests include restoring function and relieving pain in the upper extremity, helping patients of all ages return to daily activities with improved mobility and comfort.
He provides expert orthopedic care for patients in the Gainesville and Braselton offices and is affiliated with Northeast Georgia Medical Center and the Specialty Orthopaedics Surgery Center.
