Ben Burch, MD

Dr. Benjamin Burch, a native of Birmingham, Alabama, is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in spine surgery. He received his medical degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine, and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the Missouri Orthopaedic Institute on the campus of the University of Missouri.

Following his residency, Dr. Burch completed a comprehensive fellowship in spine surgery at the prestigious Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. During his fellowship, Dr. Burch underwent intensive training in the treatment of complex spinal disorders, including degenerative diseases of the spine, spinal deformity, spinal oncology, and minimally invasive spine surgery techniques.

Dr. Burch is a specialist in endoscopic spine surgery, which is an ultra-minimally invasive treatment option for many spine conditions. Along with this, he is excited to bring other state-of-the-art treatment techniques to North Georgia, such as computer-navigated and robotic spine surgery. Dr. Burch has extensive experience treating spinal injuries and disorders in athletes, as well as work-related injuries.

In addition to treatment of spinal disorders, Dr. Burch has a clinical interest in orthopedic trauma surgery, and also treats injuries of the extremities, such as fractures and dislocations.
