Sanik Patel is originally from Kentucky and relocated to Georgia to be closer to family. He began his healthcare career as a Medical Laboratory Scientist, where he spent seven years developing a strong foundation in clinical medicine, laboratory diagnostics, and patient care before pursuing advanced training as a Physician Assistant. He completed his Physician Assistant studies at Sullivan University and is nationally board certified.
His interest in orthopedics developed during his clinical training, where he completed an orthopedic rotation and developed a passion for musculoskeletal medicine and helping patients restore function and return to the activities they enjoy. He currently works alongside a hand and upper-extremity orthopedic surgeon, providing care for patients with a variety of conditions affecting the hand, wrist, elbow, and upper extremity. Through his clinical experience, he has also developed a strong foundation in the evaluation and management of general orthopedic conditions.
Sanik is passionate about providing compassionate, individualized, and patient-centered care. He believes in educating patients about their condition and treatment options while working with them to develop a plan that aligns with their goals and lifestyle. His background as a Medical Laboratory Scientist also provides him with a unique perspective on diagnostic evaluation and clinical decision-making.
Outside of the office, Sanik enjoys exploring the outdoors, spending quality time with family, watching sports, and trying new cuisines. He is grateful for the opportunity to serve the Georgia community and looks forward to helping his patients achieve their health, mobility, and functional goals.
