Imaging Services

For orthopedic injuries and issues, bone imaging is an important step in reaching an accurate diagnosis and treatment plan. Different diagnostic imaging tests have functions that help your orthopedist determine the cause of your issue.

At Specialty Orthopaedics we provide in-house imaging services for our patients, with x-rays available at each of our office locations in Gainesville, Dawsonville, Braselton and Duluth. We also offer closed MRIs our office in Gainesville.

In Office X-Rays

X-rays, or radiographs are medical imaging tests used to produce images of internal structures. Our physicians use x-rays for a variety of diagnostic and treatment purposes including:

MRI Services

An MRI or magnetic resonance imaging scan uses magnetic fields and radio waves that detail the internal structures of the body in an image. Our orthopedic specialists use MRIs to diagnose issues and plan treatments including:
